Handover of the State Minister's Office 2026

The State Minister for Internal Affairs, Hon. Juma Witonze Kisekka, officially assumed office in a ceremony presided over by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. Prof.Ephraim Kamuntu. In his maiden address, Hon. Witonze emphasized the need for Ministry of Internal Affairs to become a service-centred institution ensuring that all citizens of Uganda can access government services efficiently, equitably and with dignity. He further noted the importance of strengthening the fight against corruption, noting that digitization of government services is critical in reducing opportunities for corruption and enhancing service delivery.
